The fields are:
CAS Registry Number
A number assigned by the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) which provides a single unique identifier for the chemical.
It contains 5 to 9 digits in the form #####-##-#.
Chemical Name(s)
Contains the full names from the Chemical Name(s) field.
The Chemical Name(s) field contains all of the different names extracted from the Chemical Names, Synonyms, and Trade Names fields of target databases such as RTECS, DSL/NDSL, and CHEMINFO.
CCINFO Data Source(s)
Lists the name(s) of the CCOHS product (databases, CD-ROM or diskette) with information on the substance.
Other CAS Registry Number(s)
A field containing secondary or alternative CAS registry numbers from the chemical databases.
CAS registry numbers may be identified as secondary or alternative numbers if they are considered obsolete or superceded, or refer to alternative forms of the substance such as hydrates or isomers.
